In 2003 or 2004 I drew, among other doodles, a mushroom-shaped creature in the act of drawing back from something (the whole picture is here). I liked the design, but felt I had enough mushroom creatures already, so I changed its head into a popsicle. I also changed the position of its "body" by mistake.
